No, we usually wore what the locals wore to fit in. Many a day blue jeans and t-shirts fit the mode. Our hair was longer than military standards and we only had to military up when we had an awards ceremony with a VIP. That meant months could go by and we were long-haired and grudge. Excellent cover in overseas locations!! FM By CHARLES T. PINCK and DAN PINCK McLean, Va. FOR those who have been around long enough, the debate over the reorganization of the United States int...

Excellent analysis…Pryce-Jones hits all the salient points of our current war with Islam. FM Only a few years ago, mass-murder attacks on the West in the name of Islam, like those of September 11, would have seemed like a thriller writer's fantasy. Nor would anyone have imagined that a bombing by Islamists could swing a general election in a European country, that a Dutch movie-maker might be shot dead on the street for a film about the abuse of women in Islam, or that one might find ...

It's time for U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan to resign. FM Over the past seven months, the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which I chair, has conducted an exhaustive, bipartisan investigation into the scandal surrounding the U.N. Oil-for-Food program. That noble program was established by the U.N. to ease the suffering of the Iraqi people, then languishing under Saddam Hussein's ironfisted rule, as well as the economic sanctions imposed on Iraq by the U.N. after...

Herbert E. Meyer served during the Reagan Administration as Special Assistant to the Director of Central Intelligence and Vice Chairman of the CIA's National Intelligence Council. His DVD on The Siege of Western Civilization is a nationwide best-seller. November 11th, 2004 By Herbert E. Meyer Are you nuts? Forgive me for being so blunt, but your reaction to our re-election of President Bush has been so outrageous that I'm wondering if you have quite literal...

Unfortunately, U.S. government agencies are faced with priorities. Decisions must be made as to where we point our assets which means there are lots of holes. Lots of INTEL ends up on the floor which could be used. This is a major problem which will not be fixed soon. FM No place to hide November 17, 2004 http://www.smh.com.au/news/Anti-Terror-Watch/No-place-to-hide/2004/11/16 /1100574470653.html# A high-tech arms race is heating up between spies and their targets. U.S. officials in the Pentagon and intelligence services are now convinced Iran is actively undermining the occupation of Iraq – and doing so through direct collaboration with al-Qaida forces. FM Iran is covertly supporting al-Qaida-aligned terrorists in Iraq, not just anti-American Shiite insurgents, U.S. defense and intelligence sources say with certainty. The acknowledgment of the long-held suspicion as certainty raises the stakes in Iraq and the Persian Gulf as President ...

And so we should!! This just provides better interaction among the INTEL community and the law enforcement community which does not historically know how to deal with one another. This is a very positive step to ensure that Homeland Security has access to all the databases it needs. FM CIA role inside the USA greater USA TODAY Monday, November 08, 2004 By Kevin Johnson, USA TODAY The CIA has assigned dozens of case officers and analysts to work with FBI agents through...

People, have no doubt that plans have been made and allies have been primed. I do think that Iran will back down as they monitor our elections and realize that the USA has given President Bush all the lee-way he wants to conduct counter-terrorism operations. Does that include Iran??? Don't count it out!! FM A Preemptive Attack on Iran's Nuclear Facilities: Possible Consequences By Sammy Salama and Karen Ruster http://cns.miis.edu/pubs/week/040812.htm At a time when Iraq and...

No matter what the press says, ICE and others are looking and working very hard to ensure our borders are secure. Granted, many illegals cross everyday and these illegals can be from Middle-East countries but I doubt that Al-Qaeda holds a presence in Arizona. Agents from all agencies are all over this threat and investigate any and all leads provided by the community. FM Al Qaeda Among Us http://www.arizonamonthly.com/mIti/10cover.php Our greatest fears were realized when the...

The United Nations is about out of time. The world has changed so much that having the U.N. as a viable organization to police the world has gone by and everyone knows it. Unfortunately, no one wants to give up their share of the organzation or the power. Take out the US and Japan and they'd go broke, that is 42% of their wages, and we get very little in return. Not a very good investment. I think we can do better. FM By JOSHUA MURAVCHIK Guest Commentary THIS MONTH, the U.N....

I was pretty shocked when Kerry made his statement during the first debate and really thought that I had mis-heard his comments. However, the same policy of accommodation toward Iran's nuclear aspirations is clearly outlined on Kerry's campaign website as well. His other comment about cancelling research and development of bunker bombs has me floored!! Bunker bombs are weapons which give tactical advantage to our ground troops as illustrated in the mountains of Tora Bora - not to forget su...
